Marshall ELC: A Great Place for Kids

The Marshall Early Learning Center (ELC) specializes in providing excellence in education to Marshall's youngest learners. The school is home to children up through 2nd grade and allows staff to focus on strategies that are specific to a young student's individual learning and social needs. As one of the first schools in Wisconsin to offer 4-year-old kindergarten, we have the experience to prepare students for success right from the start.

ELC Healthy Snack Program

ELC students will be scheduled take turns bringing classroom snacks. In order to ensure the optimal learning environment, each child must have a healthy diet. The snack list that is linked to this webpage is to be a guide to help bring healthy snacks on a daily basis to school. If a child brings in a snack that is considered to be in contradiction to the district wellness policy, he/she will be able to choose from a school provided snack cabinet in order to provide snack to his/her class. The snack that was brought in will be sent back home at the end of the school day.

On special occasions, such as birthdays, it is completely acceptable to bring in a special treat such as cupcakes, cookies, etc. Our hope is that following this procedure will allow students to learn to their fullest potential each day they attend school. Thank you for your participation and support.
